Citadel Season 1, Event 1
Join us for our first event of Season 1!
Power surged from ancient ruins deep within enemy territory. Coalitions from every nation risked their lives to investigate the phenomenon, finding a set of massive doors, with a countdown slowly ticking away.
Representatives and adventurers have begun gathering in the area since the doors were discovered and a rough town has been established in what once was the seventh district of Kallarai.
What will be found behind these doors? Rumors promise great wealth, knowledge, and power to any who would brave the obstacles that are sure to be found on the other side.
The Citadel will soon be open. Do you dare to delve?
Event information

Location: Booker T. Washington State Park - Oaks Group Camp
Logistics:
Check-In/Logistics: Friday, February 7th, 8pm - 9:45pm ET
Players may arrive before 8pm on February 7th, but staff will be busy preparing for the event, so please hold any questions until then.
Players with Wizardry are allowed to begin casting their spells into their foci as soon as they arrive on site. We recommend players with Wizardry coordinate with other players.

For this event, all players are required to attend Opening Ceremonies as it will include a Safety Briefing.
Closing Ceremonies: February 9th, 10am ET
We encourage all players to attend Closing Ceremonies on Sunday morning.
Food:
Citadel will not be providing food to players (often known as a meal plan, or feast). However, there are some key notes about food below:
Breakfast: Player provided breakfast (more info to follow)
Dinner Window: Saturday, February 8th, 8pm-10pm ET
Dinner is pot-luck style. Citadel encourages players to bring food to the Tavern to eat and share in order to build community and roleplay with each other and staff in a scheduled break from the mayhem.
When bringing food to share, be sure to indicate if the meal contains known allergens (staff will provide indicator sheets).
Packaged snacks will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. You may either create a cash tab at Check-In or pay with cash at time of purchase.
Parking:
Parking is included in the event ticket. Once your vehicle is unloaded, please park it in the gravel lot between the bathhouse and the entry drive. Cars are not allowed to remain in the “town” area of Oaks camp.
Discounts
Citadel offers a number of discounts to help offset the cost of attending an event. You may only apply one discount per event registration, and event registrations that do not apply for the discount must be purchased separately. (As in, you cannot have more than one event registration in your cart at a time if you intend to apply a discount).
If you believe you qualify for any of the following discounts, please Contact Us, and we will provide the code to enter during check-out.
New LARPer: 30% off your first event registration if you have never before attended a LARP event
Student: 40% off your registration if you are a Full-Time Student (high school or college level)
Thanks for NPCing: 50% off your next event registration if you NPC'd for a full 3-day event during that season
Player Assistance Fund
The Player Assistance Fund is a collaborative effort by our community to ensure Citadel events are accessible to anyone who wishes to attend, regardless of financial circumstances. Donations from generous participants help cover the registration cost for players who have qualified for the Assistance Fund. All donations go directly toward player registration costs.
Donating
Players who donate to the Player Assistance Fund will receive Cogs equal to the monetary value donated. The "standard" donation amount is $45 (or half the cost of a three-day event). You can donate the standard amount by going to the Register for Events page and adding the Player Assistance Fund to your cart. If you wish to donate a specific amount that differs from the suggested donation, please Contact Us directly to arrange it.
Applying for Assistance
If you are interested in utilizing the Player Assistance Fund, please Contact Us. You will be required to complete an application form. Citadel staff will collaborate with you to develop a personalized plan.
